Advanced Training Helicopters
We offer competitive rates for all of our advanced training with well qualified commercial pilots performing these advanced skill in real world commercial operations. We have the facility training to offer advanced training in the Robinson R44, Bell 206, Bell 206L, AS350, Airbus H120 and H130 helicopters.
Basic Gas Turbine
The first turbine rating in New Zealand for any helicopter licence requires you to have passed the Basic Gas Turbine exam. Flight time to complete the advanced training type rating is competency based but usually will be a minimum of 1 hour flight time and a maximum of 5 hours. We have CAA approved exams for the ground portion of the rating for the H120, Bell 206 and H130. Call or email us for more information.
